About Reframe Renew

A place to pause, reflect, reframe and start afresh.

Reframe Renew Psychology is grounded in the belief that emotional wellbeing is contingent upon how we think. When we change the way we think about ourselves (reframe), we form  new behaviours (renew) and notice we can better manage our circumstances. Reframe Renew Psychology offers a calm, collaborative space for individuals, couples, and families, either in-person in Port Macquarie or via telehealth.

Our story

Care that makes room for the whole of you.

Life can ask a lot of us - mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. At times, the way forward can seem unclear — especially when stress, change, relationships, or old patterns begin to take up more space than we would like.

Reframe Renew was created to offer an emotional refuge in the storms of life: one that meets you with curiosity, compassion, respect, and room to move at your own pace.

Our therapeutic approach

Collaborative, practical, and deeply human.

There is no one-size-fits-all path through therapy. Our work is shaped around your experiences, strengths, relationships, and hopes for the future. We make space to understand what is happening, notice what matters, and explore new ways forward together. We work together with you to increase your emotional self-management skills, using evidence-based treatments, including: * Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) * Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) * Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) * Gottman’s Couples Therapy

01

Start with listening

Your story, perspective, and priorities guide the work from the first conversation.

02

Work at your pace

We create a steady, respectful process that feels manageable and meaningful.

03

Make it practical

Insight matters most when it can support everyday life, relationships, and choices.

The people behind the practice

A warm welcome, without assumptions.

Warm, reflective moment in natural light

Naomi Wyndham is a Registered Psychologist, holding a Master of Professional Psychology. She brings into her psychological practice over 30 years experience working with children and families across the early childhood education and child protection spaces. This experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the impact early life experiences and trauma can have on emotional and psychological wellbeing. She has a passion to support individuals to discover their true value and worth, and be freed from the crippling self-doubt that drives anxiety and depression. Naomi is a Level-1 trained EMDR therapist, offering trauma-informed treatment to address non-complex PTSD symptoms. She is also trained in CBT, ACT, Gottman’s Couples Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioural Assessments for children, and adult ADHD assessment.

We believe the right therapeutic relationship begins with a conversation — not a perfect introduction.
